John Philip Kurzweg, de son vrai nom ; chanteur, parolier, multi-instrumentiste & producteur américain né à San Fransisco, mais qui a grandit à Richmond en Virginie.
Ses multiples succès lui ont permis d’engranger force disques de platines. Il fut tout d’abord connu pour sa participation au groupe post-grunge « Creed » dans les années 90 en tant que producteur & arrangeur. Il accompagna également d’autres groupes vers le succès : Puddle of mudd, Godsmack, Eagle-eye cherry.
