Chef d’orchestre de variété, arrangeur & compositeur français de musique Easy-listening, né en 1929, mort en 2008
Il étudia la musique au conservatoire de Paris dès ses 17 ans et devint rapidement pianiste de jazz dans un trio, puis dans l’orchestre de Franck Pourcel, puis dans celui de Paul Mauriat
Dès 1956 il fonda son propre orchestre avec lequel il a contribué à la renommée de plusieurs émissions de télévision : Musicorama, le Palmarés des Chansons, L’Eurovision
Il a également accompagné plusieurs grandes vedettes : Dalida, Claude François, Richard Anthony
Il a composé de nombreuses B.O pour des films avec Louis De Funès
Sur ce disque, uniquement des airs classiques d’origines assez diversifiées : L’été de Vivaldi, l’Adagio d »Albinoni, Sicilienne de J-S Bach, L’inachevée de Schubert ….
